Meet Larry K, a solo guitarist with roots in the Metro Detroit area, who’s strummed his way across the US, down to Mexico, and even over to Malta. With a repertoire that dances from timeless classics to today’s hits, Larry thrives on the challenge of transforming songs into solo guitar arrangements that capture the essence of the originals, all while keeping it simple.

His setup is a lively mix of percussive beats, rich harmonies, looping melodies, and the occasional harmonica, making each performance a unique musical journey. Folks often rave about his warm vocals, eclectic sound, and the way he curates songs that resonate with everyone. And watch out—he’s known to throw in a cheesy joke or two to keep the good vibes rolling!

Larry’s musical journey began at the tender age of 15 as a drummer in a polka band. Throughout high school and college, he honed his craft in local top 40 cover bands. Over the years, he’s donned many hats as an on-call drummer, a musical theater singer, and an acoustic guitar/vocalist, diving into a wide range of genres. Larry truly shines in intimate settings where he can connect with his audience, always ready to play requests and showcase his broad musical knowledge. He channels the voices of legends like Elvis, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, and Bob Dylan, drawing the crowd in and sharing a few laughs along the way.
